Oh I so love this age in ways!

So about 3:30 this afternoon our power went out.  I think a transformer blew b/c I heard an explosion.  We aren't far from the substation, so who knows.  While the power was out Brian went to the fridge to get something to drink.  "Oh no! Light out!"  I explained that was b/c we had no power and to make sure he closed the door quickly to keep the food cold.

About 45 min later the power came back on.  He asked if there was light in his room.  I said there should be to go check... which he of course ran to do.  The next thing I know he's in the kitchen with the fridge door open "Light working!  COME SEE! COME SEE!"  LOL!  I love how easily amazed they can be!

Ob check up today.  Brian got to hear his brother's heartbeat and play with the doctor's tape measure.  Glucose test came back great as did hemoglobin.

I'm still counting down the days until Sears comes out to fix my washer.  It broke Tuesday (yesterday) and they can't come until MONDAY!  I need to call and check to see if they have any earlier appointments.
