My New Man
Hi everyone! MY new man named Trevor, is coming to see me by the end of May. I can hardly wait. He says he thinks of me all the time and he loves me …
I'm a retired nurse with two children at home. My husband resently passed away after 37yrs of marriage. I'm having a hard time raising a teenager by myself and with this disease it doesn't make it any easier.I try to keep busy taking care of the yard, pulling weeds and planting flowers. Not much more to say except for this depression I'm in, I fight it every waking moment. Wish I could meet someone with same disease to see how they are adapting or fighting it.

Hi Sharon, I'm sure Jazzy is in a better place, but she will be so missed by those of us she left behind. My daughter is due to go into the hospital this Thurs. night and they will induce her Fri. morning. Will just miss my wedding anniversary by one day. Strange, huh? Take care, my friend. Hugs!!! Enid
Oh, Sharon, it is so hard to lose one of our own - isn't it? I think she tried so hard to be upbeat and cheerful, but she probably knew there was no hope. She was a pretty intelligent lady and knew the signs. I wonder if she had a premonition because she deleted all her journals - "Too sad" she said. I hope you are having a good day, and thanks for the funny forwards. We need a bit of a laugh, don't we? My daughter is due any day now with her first baby, so my emotions are all over the place. Hugs and prayers, Enid
I used to smoke but had bronchitis every month I could never get completely well. Then after realizing I would rather breathe than smoke, I quit. It has now been 18yrs since I quit but I still get sick, wheezing, coughing Nasty sputum, etc. five years ago I was diagnosed with a fungus on my lungs. After a year of steroids they got rid of it. I cont. to be sick. Now they say I have sarcoidosis. exhaustion, depression seems to be taking over my body.
I was married for 37yrs-we were to retire together-we did everything together-It's been so hard, we have 2 boys at home. The only thing that keeps me going are my sons.
I have been fat all my life. Diets don't work.I couldn't get pregnant so I ate to have a big belly. Now I want it off.My knees and hips have broke down, trouble breathing.
I had gastric bypass surgery on Sept. 2nd , just 22 days ago.....it's been hard adjusting to a new way of eating...I'll be glad when I can chew something ....so far I've lost 39 lbs..........I would like to hear from others that had this surgery and how they're doing with it..it's good not to be alone in such a drastic change of life......................Sharon
