Our blog Mood
Tuesday, October 21, 2008

I'm not on this website as much as I used to but I do come on and check to see how everyone is doing and enjoy getting updates from everyone. So if anyone wants to check up on Noah and the family if I haven't written a journal entry in a while, we do have a blog that I update regularly for our out of town family and friends. Feel free to check us out! http://therusselltrio.blogspot.com/

Hope everyone is doing well!

Noah is 2 months old! Mood
Monday, September 8, 2008
Wow I can't believe how fast time has gone, my little guy is already 2 months old! He had his 2 month check up today and had to get 3 shots, he cried but it didn't last long. Well we have seen so many changes in the last 2 months, lots of smiles and laugh or two, constant moving of the arms and legs and he looks at me like he knows me which is nice. He is starting to be awake more during the day but still getting up every 3 hours at night most of the time we do get lucky from time to time with 4 or 5 hours of sleep in row! I think this will start becoming more of a trend, well we can keep our fingers crossed. :) I am still on maternity leave, in California you get 6 weeks paid and then an additional 6 weeks of family bonding time which is also paid, so I won't be back at work until the end of October. I physically and mentally feel ready to go back to work but I am not ready to have Noah go to daycare yet but I know the time will be here in no time!

Noah James Russell is here! Mood
Sunday, July 13, 2008
Noah James Russell arrived July 6 at 4:19 pm, 7 lbs 10 oz. I started contracting at midnight on July 6, went to the hospital at 6 am with pretty painful contractions about 3-5 min. apart and then in triage they told me I was 3 cm and my contractions as I was laying down went to 7 min apart! I was very disappointed, Dr. told me to go walk to the halls for an hour. Contractions became more painful in that hour and about 5 min apart and the vomiting began Frown, all I wanted was to be admited and to get the epidural. Epidural placed about 11:30 am, the best thing ever! And Noah was born about 5 hours later! This past week has been a blur and my husband and I have been very sleep deprived but becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience ever.
