I'm a registered nurse in the emergency room, my husband Matt and I have been married since October 2004, we have been trying to conceive our first child since October 2006. On Halloween 2007 we were very excited to find out we were expecting baby #1! Noah James was born on July 6, 2008 and we are having lots of fun watching him change day by day!

My husband and I have been trying to conceive first child since October 2006. I have irregular periods and have been using provera to have a period. Unable to figure out when or if I'm ovulating.
Treatments
- Basal Thermometer Not Working
- Showing that I am not ovulating
- Clomid Too Soon to Tell
- Didn't get a chance to take :)
- Crying Working / Worked
- It helps to vent and not keep it all bottled up sometimes

- Son never latched on so I'm just pumping right now, but I'm making to just feed him breast milk right now.

Open Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
My husband has had ulcerative colitis for almost 8 years now and his current flare is the worst one yet and has just started purinethol for the first time.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- avoiding sugar, raw fruits and veggies and spicy foods, been eating a lot of chicken and rice.
- Colazal Not Working
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- Has been having lots of side effects this time around ie. jaw pain, increased appetite, facial swelling and not getting results like before
- Purinethol Too Soon to Tell
- Hopeful this will help but also anxious about potential side effects.
