I was diagnosed with Epilepsy 1985 prescribed Epilim 500mg x3 daily. Increase of meds as the yrs have moved on and the progression of my EP. Many trial drugs have been used on me over the yrs. Many side effects have ensued! Acceptance of my condition and the understanding that it is here to stay is my philosophical view of life! Fall down brush off and stand tall!

you to hon..smile...i am having an issue right now as well..shit..in hospital for ms at moment and everyone want to experiment...holy crap..and they pick the seziure meds to play with..for the first two days..i just palmed them and flushed the extra ones..grin..then told the dr. what i was doing so he stopped them..rofl..told him when he had the special degree my neuro does...than we could fool around..rofl..realized afterward it did not quite sound right..grin..but ah well..to much pain meds...lmao..waiting for eiplspy neuro to call and change meds...smile... nice to see you back on the board...smile luv heather

hey quick question..are you still on the tegretol??? i am finally off of it...my son was on it for a year...went in and told neuro to get him the hell off of it..sigh..dramatic drop in marks..turned him into son of satan..grin..are in the middle of med switch right now..and showing great improvement..smile.. luv heather

I have both generalized and absence seizures and I have lost all faith in the medical profession. In fact I feel that all medication that I have taken over the yrs has worsened rather than helped my epilepsy.
