Physically disabled, married but isolated. Enjoy people and animals. Love nature, spiritual thoughts, laughing and 'keeping the faith' despite so many burdens in my everyday life. Try to always encourage others, in some way that encourages me to hang in there!

People, animals, nature, quiet times to meditate/pray. Not into the current TV shows, much prefer "I Love Lucy" or "The Andy Griffith SHow", and the lovely old movies on Turner Classic Movies. Geez, am I living in the past, or what?

I'm with you on the older tv shows! I watch alot of hallmark and cooking shows.
Thanks Nancita, I do so hope for some kind of cure someday!! I would dearly love to get at least some of my life back, but I know that accepting what is is part of healing, isn't it? captain bj
I know how you feel with living with pain! By the way, I went to school with Priscilla Presley before she was married. Didn't know her personally, but saw her get in/out of the long limo every day. She wore the same uniform we all did. She wasn't nearly as pretty as now, though. She grew into her beauty, I guess. Thanks for the hug.
Lets go live in Lucy's house ??? Oh, I sure wish we could nan !!! love to you, glad to hear your back on line chic. liz xxxx
Sorry about your PC trouble nan, I get lots of that too, and I really miss it when its out of action. Never mind enjoy the TV while your waiting, and I have been meaning to tell you how much I loved ' I love lucy ', I used to run home from school to watch her at tea time as a child. Gee, I wish they would put a re-run of it back on here for us. Good luck with the PC. love liz xxx
Because this is a first for me (looking for supportive words), I hope to be able to receive/give encouragement. I've been dealing with post-polio syndrome, scoliosis, and other problems for many years. Chronic pain is accepted. But my physical disabilities have made me feel very isolated at times. I cannot share my thoughts with my spouse, so I'd like to hear from others in a similar situation (or any situation!)
