Hello to all,
Havent written in a while...
I have been feeling pretty good these days (cats claw) it really has been a mirical for me.
Thanksgiving was great...I didnt cave in, I opted NOT to spend it with my family
Probably the best Thanksgiving I have had in a long time
Best friend came over for a while then a nice quite dinner with just me and my son.
Took a nap, watched footbal...nice time.
I found out from my brother that my youngest siser got real drunk (not a suprise)
I am pretty ready for X mas, tree is up, outside decorations up, most gifts are bought.
As a hairdresser, I need to be done early because soon I will be working very hard giving everyone their holiday hair cuts.
Hope all is well with everyone,
as always, thank you for your support.

Glad to hear you are doing well. I'm impressed you are so ready for Christmas....I just moved, and don't think the decorating is going to happen this year. I'm proud of how you handled Thanksgiving, and glad you got the peace you needed. Blessings, Jan

Now that you mention hairdressers, you jogged my memory from last year. Hubs finally 'agreed' I should get my hair touched up. i made the appt for a few days before Christmas. I was all kinds of happy at the thought of a new "do". I was there 20 min early and to make a long story short I was there over 3 hrs. He put everyone else before me as I wasn't a regular, I guess. He put me under the heat, also, and left me there. MY hair was so dry and burned that I am still struggling with it one yr. later. I started coloring my own hair. I won't let anyone treat me like that again, I wonder if he even noticed what he did. All he was worried about was my giving him a Christmas present. He gave ME one for sure, a really bad memory!!!
Glad you took "time" on Thanksgiving, it's all about doing what makes us happiest. The initial break is the hardest, glad you got yourself through that in time for the next holiday..!!
