Well I'm all packed and ready to go! Off to Nashville for 5 days to visit my family. And on to beautiful Sarasota Florida..... I'll be away from my computer until next Tuesday! Love and Blessings to you all........

Hi my lovely friends, just want to let you know I will be off line for abut 10 days. We are leaving early in the morning (Sun. the 16th) for our camping trip. I am really excited. Always am when it's time to go camping! Gail it's beautiful up here now, the weather is suppose to be in the mid to upper 70's. Calling for some rain!!! I guess the closest I'll ever get to a motor home is a big plastic tarp over my tent!! What can I say..... it's in my blood! Hope you all have a good 10 days and for all my buddies struggling with the nicodemon. Know you're in my prayers and you can do it!! Just don't smoke the first one!!!!!! Love & Blessings, Sandy

Hi Girls, well here's a good one . Ok last week I'm out at my son's house watching my 2 granddaughters. And around the house are pictures of his father (my x) and his "secretary" (if you know what I mean) wife!!!!!! I got so rageful I started cussing to my present husband about it (her) with "my" family "my" kids bla, bla, bla.... My husband said "Sandy that was 27 years ago!" I can't believe how upset I got after 27 years. I have worked through all this in therapy and being that I'm in a 12 step program I have worked my steps on it also. I am also married to a wonderful man I love. And this old resentment really blindsided me,let me tell you!!!!!! Also my daughter told me that she (the step-monster/ secretary wife of my x) is rideing down to Dallas with her and the boys. Going to help my daughter with the drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was sick with hurt. My daughter knew it too. She said Mom, "I didn't ask you because I know you hate rideing in a car" well she is right! I do hate rideing in a car for a long distance. I fly back to Florida and my husband drives!!!! So here I am with this old resentment in full bloom. My AA program has taught me to pray for the person, place or thing we resent. And thats what I've been doing AGAIN for the past few days!!!!

sandy a little bit of advise. I still become enraged with the kids too. daddy this and daddy that. however he is not married so thats not thrown in my face. my kids hated their step mother(the one that broke us up) .. he divorced her. I would tell my daughter you are not too good to drive to dallas. its a beautiful drive and insist. you will win. let the kids know that they are more than welcome in your home and don;'t try and be above them. thats where the ex is getting ahead of you. she is a person that seems to be able to share and give.I will be praying for you and no you are not living the life of your dream. you miss you children more that a lifestyle and so did I. piss on my ex. I am # 1 and you are MOM remember that. love and prayers gail

To be honest, considering the circumstances, I would feel the exact way. I can tell you that my mom had never met my step father's ex but had her thrown in my mom's face so much she never got over it. Don't feel about being so upset, it is still betrayal, no matter how much time has passed. It is still there in your face! And like Gail said, you ARE MOM! Love you! XOXOXO

It is called human nature. No matter how hard we have worked at "getting over" something when it hits us in the face like that we get all pissed off again as if it was happening right now. It's ok . I think it is very ok to get pissed off as long as it doesn't effect your quality of life. The one thing I alwasy say and I truly believe it , whatever we put out into the universe it will come back to us so just now mother nature is taking care of the B :-). Hugs, Inga
