Hi, I was just wandering how you are doing after your surgery? I too have been told I need eye lid surgery, which frightens me. Was just hoping you might be able to pass on some advice. Laura.
It does get better. It has been 6 months since I had the upper eyelid done. It is coming along. It feels tight and I can't open it very wide...but no numbness and swelling only if I am really tired. My family said it is looking more natural. WEll next week I hope is my last eye surgery.
how you feeling? hope you had a nice weekend... ;)
Just wondering how you are doing with your eyes now. Hope they are coming along ok.
Happy new years!!! I'm home & being board so I thought I'd say Hi....
After blood tests revealed I was off-the-charts Hyperthyroid, I was then diagnosed with Grave's in Oct 2004, immediately had the RAI treatment, in Feb 2005 blood tests showed I was off-the-charts hypothyroid, began replacement hormone, spring of 2005 lost over half my hair, but my thyroid levels balanced out. Have been normal up until 9/2006, then started having problems with my eyes. Diagnosed with Grave's Eye disease.
34yo female, just divorced after almost 10 years of marriage. He was very unstable, and verbally abusive with a violent temper. It finally started taking a toll on my health, so I made the very difficult decision to get out.
Was married to a verbal abuser for nearly 10 years. He was only ever diagnosed with depression, but believe he is bi-polar. He is very defensive & paranoid, with a short-violent temper. After 10 years of marriage, and him trying to convince me it was normal to vent, aka scream at me, slam doors, curse me out, humiliate & belittle me...I chose to divorce him.
Just went through a divorce, after 9-1/2 years of marriage. He was a unstable, neurotic abuser. Now, seems I'm having trouble coping now that he's out of the house, ironically. So I've been depressed.
