Hi Kay, you came to the right place, we will support you. Yes, it has too be difficult for both of you. Your boyfriend is going through a major change in his lifestyle, so be patient is a major thing. Talking to each other is the best remedy now. Take Care and God Bless.
Oh, there is nothing wrong Kay, with him knowing that you're learning about this too and there to support him. God will provide the answers. Really. You're in good hands all the way around. Lorrie
My boyfriend was diagnosed with MS after suffering from vision problems. He is now legally blind. The hardest part is to support him when I feel that I need support myself. He's the man I want to marry so it's difficult accpeting these circumstances and knowing that it is permanent. He's only 28 and I hate that he has to deal with this for the rest of his life. He started treatment and I am helping him to do everything he possibly can to make the best of this situation.
I was diagnosed with scoliosis in 1998 when I was 14. A few months later it had gotten so bad that there was no time for a brace. I chose to have spinal fusion surgery.
