  I am very sorry for your loss. I doubt there is not one of us on the DS family who have not gone though the death of someone who meant the world to us. God Bless you and comfort you. My prayers are with you.

  You know that I am quilty of asking God in prayer for something. And if the prayer is answered; quess what my reaction is? SURPRISE, GOD HEARD AMD ANSWERED BY PRAYER; I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT. You know this not pleasing in God's sight. We shoud EXPECT our prayers to be answered. If we pray for something that is His will and by faith we do not doubt and 100% believe God is going to answer that prayer. The problem is knowing what God's will is. This is where we need to know God so intimately and we are friends; we will know the will of God. Excuse me for going on a preaching expedition; that is what God called me to do when I was about 9. Three years before I was saved. My PC crashed a few days ago so I do not have access to my online Bible. So I will have to use memory.

  Ginger, thanks for the hug. My computer crashed a view days ago and I have over 150 message. Only a few were sent directly to me. I read the one sent to me like yours and usually I get 30 or so a day and I try to respond to all of them. But I just have delete them because I have so many, except yours.

  James my only son
  Had three close friends
  Toby, Shawn & Mack
  There was nothing they lacked
  Together they had fun
  Hanging out at our home
  Not outside to roam
  
  Toby had a pilot's license
  And took them for a spin
  Over cotton fields they flew
  High in the wind
  At night he couldn't see
  Before them a big Oak tree
  They couldn't have known
  Where they flown
  
  To the left they banked
  Sheering off the tree
  Upside down they landed
  Gone were the three
  My only son included was he
  My soul was shattered that night
  At such a horrible sight
  Of what went wrong with that flight
  
  But I hang on tight
  To God's promise that James
  Was saved at age thirteen
  But though he died at eighteen
  He will live in eternity
  Despite the pain & anguish of James loss
  Jesus carried our burdens
  On the cross.
  
  My name is Roger Edwards. I am 60 and retired. I am married to a wonderful woman. I have had OCD and depression for 35 years. With OCD it is like being sentenced to live.
  I lost my only son when he was 18. I have also lost a grandson who was stillborn without a brain.
  I used to be in the Ministry until OCD hit me like a ton of bricks.
