I am so sorry for your loss. The numbness might last a long time, but that is ok. There is no timeline for grieving and what ever you do is right for you. I am at three years of losing the two most important men in my life, my dad and my husband on the very same day. This is the first year that I even cleaned out one of my husbands dresser drawers. I wish I could wrap my arms around you and make everything better. Please know that you are not alone and many are praying for your strength and support. Cry a little and remember good times. Cry a little more and one day the numbness will begin to fade. Take care of yourself.

I still have not opened the box. However I have the digital photos on the computer and sometimes I do lok at them and then get even sadder. But, at least then I cllick them off instead of walking by the ones in the frames when ever I go through a room. It will be 4 months on Sat, and some days are a bit easier but not all of them. With the holidays coming it will be rough his birthday is 12/19 and for the last few years we always did a cruise for his special day. We had one planned for this year. I try to not think about a;; of this too much. Take care.

Close Parkinson's Disease
I'm the caretaker for my husband who has had Parkinsons for 7 yrs. The worst part is his ridgitity, tremor in his one hand,getting out of bed or a chair now his speech is affected.
Treatments
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- Yes, I find physical therapy helps with the stiffness. Rides the stationary bike and they apply moist heat and massage, twice a week.
- Sinemet Working / Worked
- Has been on it for a few years. So far so good.
Open Caregivers
I am my husband's caregiver. He has mild dementia and Parkinsons.
Open Dizziness & Vertigo
My husband gets very dizzy when just getting out of chair or even at times just standing. The ENT says he has vertigo. He has an appointment with a balance therapist who specializes in Vertigo. I know someone who was completely cured. Hope it works for my husband.
