God Bless you and keep you in his care! You have trully blessed me with your love and concern.
So nice of you to think of me. No need to apologize because I haven't been around also. Good to hear from you. I hope all is with with you & your family.
I think you should change your name, because mr.forgetful does not fit. thank you for the hug. It will be tough this Friday, because it already feels tough now. I wish you well with all your days. Hold on to the happy memories. Again thank you, I am lucky to have people that can relate and understand.
I'm fortunate that many of my friends come to me when THEY need a hug - gives me an excuse to get one for myself! My sons are funny about it, but then they are big guys. The Big One is a hugger, Small Fry (who isn't small anymore) is not a hugger - but then he's autistic and they tend not to be. I've put up a photo of them so you can see my boys. I keep my photos locked to 'just friends' but you should be able to see them now. My guys are loads bigger than yours (25 and 21) but they'll always be "my babies". Hope you're having a good Friday! Love and Hugs, Martha
Here's a hug for you and those 4 beautiful boys of yours! Maybe that should be HUUUUUG to be big enough? Love and Hugs, Martha
Hi I am a single dad with four sons 8-15 yrs old and find life hard at times but am regularly reminded of how lucky I really am. Thanks Doug for creating this topic as its a little different for single dads as I am sure replies will explain and in some cases more difficult compared to a single mum. I hope there are other single dads with their opinions on this I hope to hear your views. This is a great site Doug and look forward to meeting some of the gentle and kind people on here.
I lost my wife to pancreatic cancer in November 2006. She underwent a whipple procedure in June 2005 and received chemotherapy a few months after. Unfortunately it returned in October 2006 and we lost her the following month. She was a devoted wife and mother to four sons, 6, 9,11 and 13.Life can be so cruel.
Hi i am a single dad to four boys of school age. Its tough at times but the odd moment reminds me of how lucky I am. I don't get to come on line a great deal and have even less to say all I would like to but really wanted to be part of this community on this cracking site.
I am a widower and would like to support others with my experience.
