Close MRSA
My son (28 months old) has been battling MRSA boils for a year now.
Treatments
- Co-trimoxazole Working / Worked
- Boils tested suseptible to Bactrim/Septra, so right now we're just playing the waiting game to see if it'll return or not.
- Clindamycin Not Working
- Tried 5 rounds of (disgusting) Cleocin before boils were tested resistant to it.
- Bactroban Too Soon to Tell
- We apply Bactroban to the pimples/boils, but are unsure if it helps or not (but leaning towards not). We also did the nasal cream--a month before his last outbreak.
- Hibiclens Too Soon to Tell
- We do the PhisoHex once a month for 5 days but are unsure if it helps or not.
