Close Coronary Heart Disease
I had a heart attack on 7/9/06 and had three stents put in one artery. The stents closed in a months time and I was advised that I would have to have bypass surgery. I had a quadruple bypass on 8/16/06. The surgery was successful for 5 months and then I went into the hospital due to chest pains. The four bypassed arteries had closed already and I have one open artery. I have been referred to UCLA Medical Center and was advised that I will need a heart transplant in two to three years.
