Close Bipolar Disorder
I do not suffer from Bipolar or a disorder/illness of the mental state. I have for the last 12 months been on this site to try and find info to help me understand my on again and off again s/o who suffers with very severe BP. I am also here to try and help others with any info I can and to try and understand him as a person. I do believe I will always love him and am so very hurt when he decides to shut me out when he is hurting.
Close Chronic Pain
MVA 2003 and chronic and severe disabling pain (dr diagnosis) since.
Treatments
- Chiropractic Adjustment Not Working
- OUCH is all I have to say
- Codeine Working / Worked
- I take this however I can get it and find that the combination of this with my other meds gives me the most effective relief
- Heat Working / Worked
- When I am in severe pain and just cant take it anymore I get a heat pad to the point of where I give myself blisters and confuse my brain with it atleast until the pain killers kick in
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- I take this twice daily, have been for 4 yrs.
- Mobic Not Working
- USELESS!!!
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- Same as the Hydrocodone as far as I know and yeah didnt help any more or any less than Hydro either
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- More OUCH!!
- Ultram Somewhat Helpful
- Longer acting and works well but can cause nausea which is not always easy to deal with. Nausea meds make no difference to this med for some reason
Open Infertility
I have one child - he is seven. Was told that I was infertile at 15, had my son at 18 (although with severe complications) I do not ovulate at all.
Open Restless Legs Syndrome
A side effect I am pretty sure of all the other medications I take for pain etc

- Lexapro Not Working
- I didnt like the way I felt during the day on this medication - almost like i was on exctasy which was not a good feeling at all
Open Anemia
For as long as I can remember I have had this - have monthly blood transfusions now and have been since november last year. Haemoglobin level varies by the end of the month about 40-45 is normal for me (120 is normal range for healthy) My Specialist says before my case the worst he had seen was a level of 70. So I guess become his pet from then.
Open Eating Disorders
Type: AnorexiaI am wanting advice to try and help minimise the damage a friend I'm certain suffers from this disease is doing to herself and her family/friends.
