How old is your sister? Just know that HIV is not a death sentence any more. People are living full lives for 20 plus years now. I have AIDS and my dr tells me I will be around for 15 to 25 years, and I know he is right. Know this, if you let this get you down, you can't help her stay up. be and encourager for her. You both, and you family are in my prayers.

Close Thyroid Cancer
Type: OtherHad thyroid cancer at age 17 and went through a biopsy of lymph nodes and subsequent total thyroidectomy. Now 150lbs + later on Synthroid.
Treatments
- Radiotherapy Working / Worked
- So far, so good.
- Thyroidectomy Working / Worked
- So far, so good. No reoccurence.

I am the typical mom of "yours, mine and ours". 12 children between the two of us, 9 at our home (2 of his) I have been married for 5 years now and even though I have been with their dad since they were 2 and 3, they just don't seem to get it.
