Close Back Pain

I'm 51 yr old male. Injured lower back L5/S1 in car accident in 1999. I surgery,corrected prob, but now "domino effect" now prob. w/ L4/L5 herniation. Have been on pain meds since 2000? & would really like better alternatives & relief fr. pain. Anyone know about "PROLOTHERAPY?"

spent lot w/ little to no results

Hydrocodone Working / Worked

oxycontin/percocet...probably almost 7 yrs now...only relief I get fr pain, but would like other options

Physical Therapy Too Soon to Tell

only 8 wks per insurance...couldn't afford w/o insurance so stopped...not enough time to see results??

Just found out my younger brother was diagnosed w/ HIV in Jan 07. Not due to sexual contact, but accidental exposure to blood in open wound. I have limited knowledge, but want to be there for him through everything. Thanks in advance for any help...I've sent this web-site info to him & hope he joins.
