What a day!

        The day started off wonderfully!  A day of corprate worship!  I love going to church.  I love to encourage people and have them to encourage me.  I love singing praises to God and studying the bible.  So after a wonderful sermon about heaven and what the bible says about heaven, as well as what it takes to get into heaven, as we were leaving church my brand new wheelchair that has been in the shop decided to no longer recline, which I must have to be able to get into our van.  Forutnely we live so close to the church, that we decided we could walk roll home, but my mom decided to cut through a neighbor's yard.  Anyway I got stuck in a hole, and my brother, uncle and cousin had to come get me out.  It was an ordeal at the time, but in the grand plan of the universe it is not a big deal.    Anxiety and depression are like that hole we must not stop fighting for victory day by day minute by minute to get out of the hole.  Sometimes we need help from many different places.  God, family friends, meds, but the point is we cannot fight our battles alone, we were not meant to any more than I could get myself out of the hole in my neighbor's yard by myself.  If you are in pit today, don't give up, and stay there, use all the resources around you to get out, it does not have to look pretty.  As much we may hate being in our pits, we often find it easier to stay in than to take the steps to get out.  For me my relationship with God is central.  Without that meds alone would do nothing for me. 

             I am interested in knowing if someone asked you guys what does it take to get heaven?  How might you react?  Does our world today really give any thought or prepration to afterlife?     Just wondering what others may be thinking.  I'm glad to know that there is something better than this earth that is waiting for me.  I remember the old ad that said how many licks do it take to get to the end of a totsie pop, the difference is that question is a trick question, and how one gets to heaven is a really question with a real answer.  John 14:6 Romans 10:9, 1 John 1:9.  Simply put A-ADMIT,B- Believe, C-COMMIT.  C is the hard part don't you think to stick to one's conviction if it is the right one at all cost, don't you think?
