Okay so get THIS.....I called my worker today, well not her, her supervisor who is supposed to be helping me instead, I left her 3 messages and then called back...OMG she finally answered....I wanted to tell her I had been worried about her, I was about to file a missing persons report, and release the hounds to sniff her out! She told me they have all my paper work and that it is still needing to be assigned to a medical person to look it over and make a decision...that I am sure will be DECLINED!!! I talked to the lawyer and she said that they in no way can hurry any of it up at this point, so I really don't see any point in hiring her to do nothing and then possibly get approved and then she gets 25%! SO at this point no lawyer...BUT my new plan is that if this contiunes to take forever (they say the quickest would be 3-4 weeks as long as 7-8!!!) SO my new plan is to just annoy the shit out of them and anyone invloved with it, my governor the surgeron general, I have every intention of posting the number and address to my worker and governor! I am calling it the reign of terror, I will have family and friends call daily and send letters...I will go to the local news and make thier lives miserable b/c they are making my life miserable....I know it may not be the most mature thing to do but...they never call back OR are at their desks, they are rude and compleltly incompetent SO REIGN OF TERROR!!!!
Plus I can't work so I have all the time in the world to do research and make them beg me to take my disability check rather then continue to call them, their supervisors etc....until I am forced to write a letter to our idiot president, who after having it read to him by Dick will be forced to call someone!
Okay!! I did some yoga today, and drank some labeena tea (sp?) for my BM issues so I am feeling a little better...I will do the postiive affirmations today again and try my hardest to mean it!
Edit: Okay this just popped up on our local news and it was so funny I had to share, apparently the local sperm banks are having a major shortage and are looking to the fire departments for help!! HA HA HA HA I can't wait to tell Ady.

Oh, and on our news yesterday, some guy wanted to rob a convience store, but it was really full. So while he waited for people to clear out, he passed the time by filling out a job application. Used his real name and his Uncle's phone number. He did put down a fake address, but they found him pretty easily anyway. lol. Stay positive.

Jess, when did you originally start the process for your disability filing? My understanding is that it typically takes 5 months and there is a 50% chance of denial the first time you do so.
If it hasn't been that long, you may need to be patient. I'm not going to pretend and say I understand what you are dealing with, but I do sympathize and hope things do work out for you. Just do your best and be patient. And believe that things will work out in the end.
Even if they don't, there's no sense in worrying what's out of your control to begin with, and if nothing good happens, well, nothing's changed either.

Your are right, you need to be a royal pain and call those people every day to get something done. And going to the newspaper is a good idea. Don't put too much hope on the govenor. I wrote mine and my senator, because my insurance said I was too old for them to pay for residential and they send me the exact same denial letter I had gotten from the insurance. It's sad but people don't give it shit.
I wonder why they want fire fighter sperm? Anything special about theirs? Heck if I would be a guy I would make a living of that.
