Close Celiac Disease
Hello to all, My name is Sharon, I am 38 yrs old and I just got the blood test for celiac. I was having symptoms for awhile. although the flare up started back this past Oct.. It really sucks to feel so horrible now. I know somewhere in the future it will get better though. If you have suggestions you think might help me please feel free to give them. Thanks for having places like this for people to go for support, it really helps.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- eliminated all whaet barley rye, and gluten products from diet and immediately began to feel better.

Hello, My name is Sharon, and I have a 16 yr old. diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. He was diagnosed in 6th grade so we have been dealing with this for awhile. He has an IEP at school as well. He is quite the challenge I have to say. Many of you know this I'm sure.
Open Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
MY name is Sharon, and I am a mom of a 16 yr old boy. He was dx with UC 2 yrs ago. It has been quite a ride for the family.
Treatments
- Asacol Working / Worked
- Takes med. 3 x a day.
- Azathioprine Working / Worked
- takes 50 mg of this a day. SAeems to keep it in check. They just checked his lvl last month.
Open Bipolar Disorder
38 yr old mother of 3. Dx with Bi-Polar 1 in July 2006.
Treatments
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- Works well for me.
Open Diabetes Type 1
38 yr old mother of 3. Dx with both type 1 & 2 Diabetes. Type 2 in 200 and Type 1 in 2004. My body body both is resistant to insulin and doesn't produce enough as well.
