- Ativan Not Working
- Made me moody and too jumpy when it wore off...same effects as when I took Xanax
- Lamictal Not Working
- Lamictal caused the worse manic episode ever - grandiose thoughts, etc - gaps in time, way over the top mania - stopped
- Lithium Working / Worked
- Works perfect-caused me to gain 35 lbs but would rather that than go manic again-happy to be stable for the first time EVER in my life 600 mg per day
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I have made a lot of progress through therapy-but I have multiple diagnoses (Borderline, Anorexia, Panic, OCD)
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- w/out my husband and boys and family I would not be alive b/c I would have given up on living with this disorder-but they show me what love & life are every day
- Topamax Working / Worked
- VERY level moods, lost all weight gained from lithium, no side effects 200mg per day

- Dosage is up to 450 mg extended release per day

Open Back Pain
Fell in April 2005 - had degenerative disks in lower disks. Herniated L5/S1 - had Lumbar fusion in September 05 - titanium rid and screws put in - constant pain now but not nearly as bad and now legs don't give out. disks above now starting to go now.

- took prior to surgery and right after surgery

- doesn't work unless used with the darvon

- Made the injury 10 times worse after the fall - but did help after the surgery

Type: Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)Diagnosed Boderline Personality Disorder after many years of abuse - not surprising considering I was never taught how to cope and I have a narcissistic mother and a self-absorbed father who didn't care his daughter was being abused from 850 miles away.

I have been a cutter since I was 15. It started along with my eating disorder as a way to get rid of hunger pains and also to feel alive/numb pain, etc.

Open Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Mainly from sexual abuse as a child from age 7 to 8 from step-father,2 uncles, physical abuse by several men while growing up(burns, beatings, etc), flashbacks constantly in dreams or at any time, can have lack of trust in men, raped at age 14 by friend of fathers

- Presently in, is working but is difficult to get past flashbacks

I served in the Navy for 4 years Search and Rescue based at Naval Air Station Lemoore. I was An Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class PO. Married my hubby who was a Rescue Swimmer also stationed there. Wouldn't have traded my experience to work on huey's and the comradery for the world!
