I have 5 children (one is a stepson from a previous marriage), the youngest is 8 - diagnosed with AS, ADHD, and GERD
Treatments
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- OT, needs a lot of help with his arms and movement.
- Behavior Management Somewhat Helpful
- ABA Center. I had him in the summer program doing well and now he's regressing in school. It works if everyone works the program
- Picture / Word Schedules Somewhat Helpful
- Visuals are helpful for reminders and if used correctly can move them along more quickly.
- Early Intervention Working / Worked
- First Steps was amazing. I just wish it lasted past 3 years old. I know that he would not have made this much progress without it.
- Patience Working / Worked
- Patience as in having the patience to reteach many times? Priceless!
