Iv been on Xolair for 9 months. It is a miracle shot, and its very new! I also have allergy induced asthma and its helped me big time! My Insurance company accepted it with no hassle! I Highly recommend Xolair! It took 4 shots before I could tell a differance, But it does work!

Asthma is tough and we all need help sometimes. This is a good site for that. Hope you feel better. Tom p.s. I hope you find that piece from your neb. If it's the one I'm thinking it is, I've misplaced mine several times. On he plus side, it always turned up. Good luck, Tom

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT. I HAVE HAD A HARD TIME DEALING WITH MY BOYFRIEND TONITE ...BECAUSE OF THE ASPERGER'S BUT HE REFUSES TO TALK ABOUT IT OR RECOGNIZE IT. HE JUST WON'T COMMUNICATE WITH ME. I HAVE BEEN DOING LIKE YOU SAID YOU DO JUST TRYING TO FOCUS ON MYSELF ..BUT IT MAKES ME FEEL SO ALONE EVEN THOUGH I KNOW HE HE WITH ME. HE IS VERY GOOD TO ME AND VERY LOVING..JUST COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS. HE I WANT TO KNOW SOMETHING I HAVE TO ASK..HE NEVER VOLUNTEERS INFO. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THINKING OF ME

    Mamie (08/02/07)

Hi Sue! Okay, so here's the thing...my husband often works 4 a.m. until 10 p.m. (it's his obsession). He is in a very reputable profession and makes tons of money, too...though his obsessions cause a lot of it to disappear. His reputation coupled with his earning potential make him the golden boy in everyone's book, including my family. So I get it. I understand your frustration. But trust your instincts...I have a 7 year old son who I'm beginning to worry about...some traits of AS are emerging. I have NOT ONLY increased his vitamin intake, but began researching every kind of homeopathic remedy for the symptoms available. I believe in this stuff. Let me know if you'd ever like any of the info I've gathered and know that I think you're right on target with attacking the symptoms from the get go with your kiddo. You can't change the black and white thinking...it's part of the disorder. But you can make it appear that you're approaching it from a holistic viewpoint, in order to appease your husband in terms of his "opinions". You take care of you and your son first...that's what I've had to do. And when my hubby is occasionally on board, then I provide him with all the positive attention I can...otherwise, it's about my little guy and trying to maintain my own sanity (which is fleeting on bad days!). Hang in there girl! Mary :)
