I struggle everyday trying to stay on track. Right now the grandkids are here and it is really hard to stay on track. I want all the special little things I get for them.I know I have to watch the BS. I did better today than I usually do.

I am 58 and have been married for 40 years. I have 2 grown children. I think Diabestes is a very expensive disease. I also think it is one of the hardest to deal with because it effects every area of your life. Having support from friend and family is invaluable to me. So let me offer my support to you. It helps to be able to talk to someone that understands.

58 year old female,diagnosed with Type 2 in Aug. 2006.Being controlled with Metformin/500/2x daily.

- Metformin Working / Worked
- None of the usual problems that I have heard others speak of.
Close High Blood Pressure

- Atenolol Working / Worked
- Have been taking this medication for about 3 years.Blood pressure under control.
- Lisinopril Working / Worked
- Have been taking this medication for about one year.
Open High Cholesterol
58 year old female.Diagnosed in 2004.Have tried a number of medications, but Vytorin has worked the best. The above statement was written before I recently heard that Vytorin was not working as had been claimed to do, and I have stopped taking it.
Open Fitness Goals
Type: Maintain a workout scheduleType 2 Diabetic; Overweight by about 50 lbs and can't stay on a healthy eating plan. Most of fat in middle.Can not stay on exercise program.
