- i started treatment in feb 2007. side effects havn't been too bad. yesterday was rough, took shots at 3 & had to work 4-12

Close Alcoholism
I have always drank way too much but, around 10 yr ago i really couldn't stop. i had to suffer alot longer before i could even think of getting sober. I couldn't understand how i was going to live without a drink. everything i did involed booze.I went on a binge jan 06 and for some reason i knew if i didn't get help i would die(by my on hands if not booze) anyway, i have been in aa and sober for 17 months. by the grace of my higher power.

- 12 Step Program Working / Worked
- aa is a life change for me. this program has lead my into peace and true happiness. Not that every day is coming up roses, that is ok now to.
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- this program is alot of work in the beginning (4&5). the people loved me warts and all.
Open Diabetes Type 2
my husband of 3 yr (he's 60) has type 2. i have gone to all his doc visits with him and for the most part he is within 150 or lower . for me the problem is ed, for him it is nerve damage and pain in his feet.
