Hi all!
I've been obsessively counting calories for as long as I can remember, and the other day I think I *may* have actually hit 1200 calories... maybe? It wasn't really my intention, but my mom made a big family dinner (it was healthy and vegetarian, but had avacadoes, olive oil, and was just plain large). I think it *may* have bumped me up to 1200 calories for the day. Well guess what? I hopped on the scale the next morning, like I always do, and I had lost 1.5 lbs! It was the second time this had happened!
Still, I went back to having my normal, restricted diet... stupid me. Restricted so much. It's really working against me... my "people" are convinced that I have done that whole thing for too long and wrecked my metabolism beyond repair. Also, I'm an old lady and my body doesn't wanna take that crap anymore! So anyway, I restricted again, and I GAINED A POUND back :( I had even exercised for 2 hours that day. Why can't I get it through my head that I'm too old for this and my metabolism is totally shot? I still do it. My skull is very thick.
Ugh. brain. please. work! I swear I took my meds this morning!
EDIT: In case you see that I have a new goal here, (my "Get To First Goal Weight!" goal, the goal weight is the weight that my dietitian has set for me. It's around 135 lbs. I'm almost there! I have no idea when I'm going to be happy enough to move the "Get to a Healthy Weight" ticker... in technical terms I kinda *am* at a healthier weight for my height (I am female and 5'4"), but still not happy with my weight. Darn.
