I'm a primary/elementary school teacher from New Zealand - teaching all curriculum areas to children between the ages of 5 and 11. Due to illness however, am unable to work at present so much of my time (when able), is to follow an interest and hobby at home in 3D art and graphic design.

Close Endometriosis
Hi there, I'm Ange. I have Stage III Endometriosis.
Treatments
- Lupron Not Working
- Was on Lupron for just over a year and unfortunately, it did not relieve any of the symptoms and break through bleeding was constant throughout treatment. For this reason, the doctors ended it and switched me to different treatment.
- Provera Too Soon to Tell
- Seems to be going well so far and have not had any break through bleeding which is a first, so that is a positive!
- Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- Laparotomy + Right Salpingo + Oophorectomy was very quick to reduce my level of pain. Even if only temporary, it was a blessing.
- Tramadol Working / Worked
- Helps if taken before an episode gets really severe. However, this is an addictive medication so I only take it as a last resort.
- Zoladex Working / Worked
- I call this the wonder drug. The only side effects for me was hot flushes but very few of them and only for the first few days after being administered the implant. Of all the treatments, this one has been the most beneficial.
- Codeine Working / Worked
- Am taking 90mg three times daily for pain relief. Together with paracetamol and Provera this seems to be keeping things relatively under control.
