Hi everyone, My name is Jackie. I'm 43 years young. I found out about my Lyme Disease in August and had some ups and down since. I'm waiting for the "Cure", but in the meantime, I can share my experiences and learn some of yours !

I have so many hobbies, just a lover of life !Just to mention a few, biking, hiking, working out at the gym, art and the list goes on. I am unable to enjoy some activities right now, but I'll be back one day. Getting better is #1.

hey there jackster! i am in NJ and have lyme too and could really use your help. i was wondering if you got "the rash" or if you tested positive before you were able to be treated. also, i was curious if you knew of any docs who might be able to help me. this lyme stuff is a nightmare to try to get help with and i am in a bad financial situation, so i need to be sure i go to the right doc the first time! i live in medford and you can feel free to call me 856-296-5457 thanks!

Close Lyme Disease
Hi everyone, I just found out I had Lyme Disease in August 2006. I've had some really bad up and downs since then. I had some problems with some meds I was on, but I waiting for the "cure" !
Treatments
- Amoxicillin Somewhat Helpful
- While on the Amoxicillin, I was getting bad vertigo, very dizzy. Some stomach cramping also. Not such a great med for me.
- Ceftriaxone Working / Worked
- I am on an IV now for 3 weeks. It must be working cause I feel like hell. The wonderful Herks !
- Doxycycline Working / Worked
- This was the first med my doctor put me on. I was very sick in bed. It was as if a bomb went off in my body. I had sun rash from this just from walking my daughter to and from school. Stomach cramping was also and issue. Did I mention Yeast....everywhere !
