A former military brat, ACOA, and all that stuff..... I have a GREAT daughter, two fab cats, a little doggie, and lots to be thankful for. I'm using this forum to help keep myself from making the same mistakes I have made in the past. I have recently let a new man into my life, I am having some trust & jealousy issues. Trying to work through these! Trying to practice gratitude for what I have and remember that "it is what it is" and that it's OK to let go of the control....

Thank you for replying to my questions...I'm new nere and every piece of advice that comes my way, I am so thankful for. I was hiding a lot from my BF, and after reading the posts here, I realized what a great relationship I have with him, and I didn't want to lose him. I don't. We talked a lot this past weekend, and while I know there will need to be more talks, things are coming out and into the light - away from the darkness. Where they need to be. I live by your motto: Taking one day at a time. Sometimes it's an hour at a time! LOL! I LOVE your picture of your two cats - they're so cute! I have one of my own and she's a delight!! I deal with anxity and panic as well. If you ever want to chat, please know that I am here. Hang in there and thanks again!
