    • Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)

      Good evening I was diagnosed with ic in 1996, even though I must have had it years before that. When I got diagnosed, I looked for a ic support in my home town, which didn't find. I created my own support group in my town and ran this group for 3 years before I moved to Australia. In 1999 I moved to Australia. In 2000 I created online ic group at interstitialcystitischronicpain@yahoogroups.com

      Treatments

      Elmiron Working / Worked
      I started on this for my treatment. It took about a year before it started working.
      Tofranil Working / Worked
      An antidepressant that helped my bladder relax. Ir really did work but does take time and to be used with other treatments
