Open Medical Mysteries

My son was a medical mystery. every test they ran came back normal. He was the fisrt child to be diagnosed with his condition in canada. he had a dupication on the Xq 21 MECP2 gene causing a global delay. it's so new they don't have a name for it. he died june 9th. 3 days after having routine a tonsilectomy. he had undiagnosed leukiemia. drugs given after surgery caused an interaction with the cancer wich started his cardiac arrest. he never recovered. he was 3years old.

my daughter just turned two. she is the light in my life. we just lost he big brother who was 3 this past June.

Angelina is very bright. she learned sign languge as an infant and began speaking her fisrt words at 8 months. she'a a little sponge when it comes to learning. I love it!

Patience Working / Worked

As we are entering the terrible two's she has developed her demanding tones "I want that!" to which I have to respond not until you ask me nicely...this can go on for a while...

Grief Counseling Too Soon to Tell

we have good days and bad days. Angelina doens't except that Brady's gone. She insists he's at school. this is a long and hard process for me. I let her guide the conversation and we take it one day at a time.
