I lost my beautiful son at the tender age of 14. Car/train accident. His best friend was driving, age 16, only had his license 2 weeks. Yes I lost my 2nd son Derrick too, they went to HEAVEN together Oct.14, 2004. I took 2 years off of work to cope, I am now a medical assistant in Family Practice. I have a daughter, age 22, that gave me the most beautiful GRAND baby in 2006. I am married to a wonderful supportive man and we are raising his daughter, age 15. I try to stay busy these days until I am reunited with him and my Mom that I lost, I was 22 and she was 46 (sudden heart attack). But honestly it has taken me 4 and 1/2 years to accept the fact that I am an "unvoluntary" member of the "Moms that have lost a child club"... I almost didn't make it, until I grabbed onto JESUS's scared hand.

I was at work and someone called me to go to the E.R. that Brent(13)and Derrick(16)had been in a wreck. I thought breaks and bruises. They were going to see my son's dad and play guitars and drums. They were in a line of traffic and were hit and both killed by a train. It was Oct.14,2004 and Brents bday was Oct.19. His passions were drumming, skatboarding, friends and Jesus. Praise God he was saved!
