HAPPY EASTER!!
Happy New Year!!!!
If you get around to looking at DS soon, I do hope you are having a good holiday and the New Year will be happy for you and your family. Hope the problem(s) are getting better. Try not to worry. Take care.
Merry Christmas my friend!!!
Sorry I have been gone for so long.. Just wanted to say hi.
Had pain from acid reflux for 2+ years. It got much worse so pain was constant. Had endoscopy in Feb. '07 to confirm hiatal hernia and ulcer.
High cholesterol is not as bad as high triglycerides. Doc gave me 3 months to bring the level down on my own. (Level was 450!!!) I am so scared. I want to be here for my daughter. I am exercising 5x a week for 30 min. and have changed my diet DRASTICALLY. I've removed all white flour products from my diet, all refined sugar products, all foods with high fructose corn syrup, and all foods with any partially hydrogenated oils in them.
Single mom for 4 1/2 years since divorce, although my ex husband was absent for most of her life anyway. My daughter is 5.
Diagonsed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis in May 2002. Went undiagnosed for years, as doctor was only reading TSH levels and not full panel of tests.
I'm Caucasian, casually dating an African-American man. We're both in our 30's and both are single parents. It's my first relationship with someone outside my own race. My mother has told me in the past that she'd disown me if I ever brought home someone who is black. We have not seen each other much this summer due to schedule conflicts. But if it does go somewhere more serious, I need to know how to approach the topic with my closed-minded family.
My 5-year-old daughter has a slew of environmental allergies. She gets hives all over when she has a reaction. Her allergies have been maintained for the most part for over 2 years now on Singulair and Zyrtec daily.
My little one gets hives as a reaction to her environmental and antibiotic allergies. They've been maintained well by avoiding the antibiotics she's allergic to and by taking 2 meds daily.
I grind my teeth whenever I'm stressed and most of the time I don't even realize I'm doing it.
Found out I have gastritis during endoscopy I had done in February 2007.
Divorced for 4 1/2 years and dealing with a very irresponsible ex-husband. My daughter is 5.
Found out I have gallstones after a second attack last November that I didn't go to the ER for. Had a sonogram to confirm diagnosis. Now I'm on a low fat to fat-free diet to try to fend off surgery for as long as possible.
I had been experiencing acid reflux for about 2 years. This past fall, I was experiencing constant pain and pressure and burning, symptoms resembling a heart attack. Doctor put me on Aciphex (was previously on Prevacid for 2+ years). Had an endoscopy Feb. '07 to confirm HIATAL HERNIA and ULCER. Since then, taking 2 meds and avoiding a slew of foods. Pain/pressure/burning much better, only have symptoms about 2x a week instead of all day, every day like before.
I'm a single mom, my daughter is 5. She is entering 1st grade in the fall.
Diagnosed w/ ulcer Feb. '07 when had endoscopy. Also have hiatal hernia. Pain has decreased significantly since I started avoiding a slew of foods and started on 2 meds/day.
I've been divorced for 4 1/2 years. My ex lives 3 states away. My daughter is 5. It's been a huge struggle. He uses drugs, alcohol, was physically and verbally abusive, and committed adultery. Was not able to prove drug use so he has visitation with my daughter. It is EXTREMELY nervewracking while my little girl is in his care every month.
