I live in FL and it is excruciatingly difficult for me as a 57 year old Aspie to fit in and try to make friends. I always kill myself trying to do tasks where 2 people normally do. So, what you said about FL is true, in that discussion about that Alex Barton 5 year old kid. So I am responding to that.

Hi, I have a brother who has Asperger and he is 18 years old. Will be graduating from high school this coming May. Wants me to teach him ebay and is gonna try college to see if can handle by himself and a dorm. I am a little worried. He doesn't drive a car either. He is a great kid though. Close Asperger Syndrome
I am Mom of 27 year old Asperger's Syndrome adult son. I have been thru mystery & suspense until he was correctly diagnosed at the age of 22. By that time my marriage of almost 21 years had fallen apart three years PRIOR to his correct diagnosis. Then I found out from internet that diagnosis was IMPOSSIBLE while he was growing up because the USA, AMA and APA did not formally recognize Asperger's Syndrome until 1995. My son was 15 by then! BTW, I was pregnant near a toxic mercury paper mill.
Treatments
- Melatonin Working / Worked
- 5 dollar bottle of over the counter Melatonin prevented me from finding a sleep disorder clinic for my son! Lasts three months too!!!
Open Caring For Aging Parents
My Mom passed away three days after three hurricanes of pancreatic cancer. Hospice was there for her through last two hurricanes. I highly recommend Hospice, they are walking saints!
