Thanks for all the husgs. I have been extremely sick with severe vomiting going on now for almost 4 weeks. I have had blood taken and no answers and I still have no answers about the Mitochondrial disease. All I know is that I have a secondary carnitine deficiency and they can't seem to find out what the primary cause of the disease is.
I am also going trough a very difficult time right now. One year ago my 25 y/o nephew Matt J was killed in a water accident. He fell off his jet ski and a boat full of drunk boys decided to play chicken with him. Unfortunately they hit him and drug him under the boat and into the propeller. Well you can imagine the damage to his body. He lived on life support for 12 days when my sister, her husband and their other son decided to let him go. He died on July 14, 2006. My sister and her husband are much more forgiving than I am. The trial starts early Aug and I want the jerk hanged. He murdered my nephew.
It was just at that time, the time of Matty J's funeral that I was being diagnosed with this disease and the doctors told me they didn't think it would get very bad, very fast. Now I have multiple organ involvement, severe pain and muscle problems, difficulty walking and so much stuff. And no answers yet.
Today my fever is down and I kept some food down for the first time in a very long time. Maybe I'm on my way to feeling a little better.
Thanks to you all. You really help me pick up my spirits.
