Journal Entry for June 25, 2007 Mood
Monday, June 25, 2007

I can't write long because I have muscle problems in my hands.  I stayed up last night and did research on Mitochondrial disease.  I have been so sick lately and falling into a depression.  Most people and even doctors have no idea what this disease is.  I have severe muscle pain and spasms, sometimes it is hard to walk.  I have migraines like I've never experienced before and Parkinson like symptoms - tremors.  I am always nauseated and vomit a lot, my kidneys have problems, my liver also.  Sometimes I can't breathe - it's called air hunger and sometimes my muscles hurt to much for my chest to expand.  I sick every day and live on strong pain medicine and vitamins and supplements.  I can't do the fun things I used to do or even keep my house clean.  You see, I have no energy at all because the Mitochondria make the energy your cells use and my Mitochondria don't work right.  So my cells are no working and they are dying.

I went up to the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio which is a fantastic research hospital in April.  My doctor said he wanted to start over with all the tests - he is just baffled.   2 week ago I had more blood work done and they took 17 vials of blood and I haven't heard from that yet.

Got to go, my hands hurt to bad to continue.  Thanks
