I am home from the hospital again. Still having problems with Mito Strokes and Complicated Migraines which leave me diabled on the right side. But I am doing better, had my muscle biopsy July 25th and still don't really know anything. The pathology report only mentioned I have some form of Neurogenic Muscle disease as well as the Mito and Carnitine Def.

Add your supportThanks to all who have been hugging and writing in my abscence. I am extremely ill right now. Still having Mito and Carn. Deficiency, now Mito Stroke and Seizrue. I was in a nursing facility for a time. I have heart problems and my lungs are filling with nodules and grnulomas. Some days it is hard to breathe. Finally after 2 years they have decided to do a muscle biopsy and hoping this will tell me something. Unfortunately I have to be off all Carnitine and Q10 so I cant eat or drink. Spending lots of time in ER with my Potassium so low they are afraid it will stop my heart again and cause another seizure. I don't seem to be able to absorb Pot. right now.

I am so sorry to hear about everything you have been through. I am grateful you took the time to write and check in.
I have been off and on, at least with my journal writing, as things have been pretty busy.
My puppy (Lizzy) is a handful, being that she is 13 weeks old - but she is my little love and I am happy that I did take the plunge and get her.
My 3 kitty friends are less than pleased with her energy level - but in time they will all tolerate each other.
Work is busy as ever. Since the economic health of our nation is shakey right now - I am happy as a clam to be needed for my job.
Joe and I are still together (over 2 yrs) but things have not been going well for us the past couple of weeks. He has pretty much clammed up,and as a result, I am starting to do the same thing. We talked about our relationship just this past Friday - but he is still unhappy and told him Mom (but not me) that he wants more. Not getting a good vibe from this (nor him) and I feel we are getting close to the end.
I am always thinking of you and praying for you.
