It's late - just getting ready to go to bed.

Today has been exhausting - it was a crazy day at work - seemed to spend the day putting out fires!  Just got to love the busienss, lol.  Oh well one more day to get through - off on Monday. 

Rushed home - cooked supper - went out to painting got home around 10 - then ironed and packed my suitcase for the weekend.

I am working through my lunch tomorrow - my mom is picking me up at 4 and we are off to my sisters for the evening.  On Saturday am - we are then off to my mom's friends home - we are to be there for lunch - her kids are coming over.  It's been a very long time since we've seen them.  My mom and her friend have been long time friends - they grew up together and haev known one another since they were five - we used to play with her kids while we were small, lol.    So we're having lunch and then we're off for a Winery tour - and not sure what else has been planned.  On Sunday we're off to Niagara Falls - have tickets to a show at the Casino and reservations for dinner.   No doubt a couple of hours at the slots, lol - my mom and her friend love the slots!  I know I won't be shopping much or spending much for that matter - no money in these pockets - but looking forward to a weekend away - just going to have fun!

I guess the kids were talking to their Dad tonight - it's been over two weeks since they last heard from him - probably three - what does it matter, lol - anyways I guess he invited them over there for Saturday - I told them to have fun, and becareful.   This will be a big trip for my son - he has never been to his dad's new place - and this will be the first meeting of the GF.  No doubt it will be interesting.   My son called his Dad tonight - he has found a truck - and has to look into getting financing - he didn't get much response from his Dad - but then I don't think he expected to.  It's rather sad really - when my kids need advice about these type of things etc - it seems that my Dad is there go to person - how lucky we are to have him in our lives.  He gives the kids some great advice and tells them how to go about things - again - just grateful that they have my Dad in their lives.

I can only hope that when I return home Monday - the apartment will not be in shambles, lol - will have to give them the friendly reminder mom thing in the morning - you know - tidy up, do dishes, no partying- just have to gently remind them about it all, lol.

Well I guess that's it for me tonight - I really need to get to bed - I am freezing!
