I live in Dublin, Ireland and still manage to work tho mainly part time now admin in local authority. I love music especially soul and motown, surfing the net and being with friends. I have MS since 2001 !!! Diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease April 08, have been on a lot of meds for this but nothing has eased the pain. Sadly I've now had to give up work (this week) because of the pain.

thank u very much,can i ask how do you cope when the pain is real bad? im slowly giving up, am takin 4 times my prescribed drugs so much so that im doing a lot of vomiting as i think im taking too much but i cant bear the pain.i just wanna give up end it all somedays as it is too much to bear

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI'm 49 and have MS for 6years now. I'm single and work part-time here in Dublin City.
Treatments
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- I haven't had a relapse since I started Copaxone in 2002, but do have to take breaks from using it as the lumps and bumps take up to 2 weeks to settle after I inject.
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- I take this for RLS (restless legs) something that I have a couple of times a week, sometimes it works other times it useless.
Close Degenerative Disc Disease
Diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease 2007..Am in the process of retiring from my job due to the pain in lower back as its constant apart from when I'm sitting or in bed. I use a walker to get around now and would be lost without it. I also have MS since 2001...I'm 51 and live in Dublin Ireland.
