Hi Everyone, I wasn't sure if I wanted to write a journal or not at first. Mainly because I can't really explain what is going on …
I am sending this as a message of support. I am just curious how others may answer your question. Two other people asked the same question before. the first one I replied to and the second I referred her to the answer I gave the first. It is currently on Page 3 of this discussion under the heading of "Sex o.k. the pill" by "secretsuffer". It is easier to refer you to this than re-tell my story. Hope it helps.
Good for you! I think your clinic is rare. My husband is a dialysis nurse and we have been involved in the routine for several years as my Mother was a patient when my hubby was still in nursing school. He became interested in this specialty from our helping tend to her. She started out with home hemo and we loved it much better than going to the clinic. But, the social aspect of the clinic is a good thing for many patients and if its done right (like your clinic does) then it really is more of a support network for them as it should be. But that is only my opinion after having watched the different ways clinics are run. So I say to you: Keep up the good work:)
Have a great weekend.
I wish that I went to dialysis in your state. My clinic is not very social. Games and fun things I do not believe that will happen here in Il. Who would I ask to make those changes? Have they been doing those fun things for a long time? If you do not mind which clinic do you work for? Have a great New Year.
Thanks. Hope you have a great holiday.
