I am 22, and a 2007 East Stroudsburg HS South graduate. I am currently a Sophomore at East stroudsburg University of PA working towards a B.S. in Special Education and Elementary Ed. I have a sister 3 years younger than I. I work at Pocono medical Center in the Food Services Department PT 4:00 to 7:30pm. I love my job!

HI! How are things in PA today? I am so sorry to here about your struggles..but you seem strong. I hope that you find a place in town so that you can get to college. Welcome to DS. Close Optic Atrophy
Since my earliest recollections, I have had trouble seeing due to Autosomal Dominant Optic Nerve Atrophy. My overall acuity is 20/200. My left eye is much weaker and, I find it hard, virtually impossible to read, watch TV or view a computer monitor with it. I have found that my left eye serves only one purpose, to identify surrounding. ONA plagues my family. I suffer from it. Both my mother and her sister suffer from it, in addition to my grandmother and her brother.
