Close Arnold-Chiari Malformation
I was diagnosed about 3 weeks ago, i was beeing tested for MS and they discovered my Armold-Chiari Malformation type 1.It is 7 mm but gives me a billian different problems
Treatments
- Acetazolamide Somewhat Helpful
- Well it has realy helped with the spasms and the walking problems.
Close Autism / Autism Spectrum
Eddie is my 2 and 3 months old Angle. He is very sweet and lovable. He loves to play with his cars. He has just been diagnosed with Severe Autism September 5th 2008. Eddie is amazing at memorizing music the words and the instrument sounds. He has manny sensory problems and also motor and speetch delays. Well he is my youngest little Angel. Eddie is one of or three prides and joys and all rounds amazing kid.
Treatments
- Behavior Management Working / Worked
- I have been trying with the reward systoms that the theropist recomended but it is not working yet
- Floor-Time Therapy Working / Worked
- It is amazing how when yo are on the floor with him one on one how he actualy tries to follow instruction.
- Occupational Therapy Working / Worked
- He started therapy in Febuary it is amazing how sensory therapy works must of the time
- Picture / Word Schedules Working / Worked
- We have been useing sensory charts for Eddie to understand what he has to do. i use the first and them. It realy works with him.
- Play Therapy Working / Worked
- He is in speatch with onother child to see if he will ingage in play with her.
- Sign Language Somewhat Helpful
- The speatch therapist uses sign language with him also he loves it he realy picks up on it quick.
Open Hypotonia
Eddie was diagnosed with benign Hypotonia about 1 year ago. He was diagnosed by the neurologist. He is still very weak on his arms and legs some days are better them others.
