I know, I know, I didn't write yesterday...BAD me! My niece gave me a cold, and I went straight to bed after drinking my theraflu. It was a good first day yesterday, and a better second day. Yesterday, I had the sore throat thing going on, today I am in the runny nose stage...I can live with that. This store really has a good program. It is far better run than the one I came from. Every store has it's issues, but this one is close to perfect. But, that is why, I wouldn't want to work there. I like to be able to fix things. Gets a little boring when everything is so smooth, and I feel a sense of accomplishment when I get people on board with a new idea or procedure. This first week of training is pretty remedial for me, but I am training with a guy who is an external trainee, so I have been helping him out a lot. It will get harder as the weeks go by. I have the house to myself tonight. Mom and Dad had to go to a funeral, and then to dinner with some people from Dad's graduating class. House is on tonight, so I have a date with him! So, other than the cold, life is great!
