My husband and I had been trying to have a baby for over four years, with no success. However, we completed our first cycle of IVF in May and are expecting our first baby in February. We are very blessed and fortunate to be pregnant--we only had one embyro to transfer and it worked! Each day is a miracle and we cannot thank God enough for this opportunity!

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 4 years. We have gone through many tests--including a laparoscopy--and everything is normal. After our 1st IVF, we are expecting a baby in February!
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- I had my first IUI on 12/07 w/out Clomid due to a ruptured cyst last month. However, it was not successful. We tried again on 1/04 and it didn't work.
- Clomid Somewhat Helpful
- I ovulate on my own--taking Clomid to up the chances.
- Follistim Somewhat Helpful
- Started on 2/25/08 and my body responded well but I didn't get pregnant.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Somewhat Helpful
- In Vitro Fertilization Working / Worked
- We have finished our first cycle and have a positive pregnancy test. We had our first ultrasound on June 13 and got to see our first heartbeat!
- Laparoscopic Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- Let my RE see that everything looked pretty good.
- Lupron Working / Worked
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- Still going strong--butt is REALLY sore--but worth it!
