on 1/06/06 I fell off a ladder and had a compound fracture of my left tibi/fibia just above my ankle. since thenh it has become infected hav edecided to have it amputated on 6/22/07 .I found this site today and wish for some info and advice

on 1/06/06 I fell off a ladder and broke my tibia/fibia . bad fracture , bones protruding thru the skin. Afrer three ops and 18 months later I had a non union infected fracture .I opted for a below knee amputation on 6/22/07 . it is slow healing and am now waiting , wearing a shrinker sock .I recently joined this site and it seems great
