Moment of Peace
I'm sending you some peace...I figure you need it. In my opinion, parenting a teen sucks! I get so tired of hearing, "It's just the age." I also contemplate whether to send mine off to live with her dad, but the truth of it is, he wouldn't take her. He walked out when she was 8 months and still hardly finds the time for her. It's pathetic. Hang in there...we're on the downhill slide (they are almost 18!).

I am a new member. I had been married for17 years. Now i am alone with our 2 kids.She left us. I cant find a creditable child care while i am at work. They cost so much! I am looking for people that are like me, for support and strength,i can only keep what i have by giving it away! God wont give you more than you can handle,right? Open Single Parenting
I have been married for 17+ years, and now my wife has up and left us! I have tryd to find child care for my kids when i am at work but i have hade no luck(unless i wont to pay $1000amonth)Got any suggestions.
Open Financial Challenges
I work hard and i make things happen...However i am a single dad now after a 17 year marriage is going down the tolet. I have 2 kids a house a harley dogs. I have asked work for more money but they said no.Yet another door shut in my face. Here to see what i can find. I dont have enough $$$$ comming in and i do have more bills, so each month it is reason to be down. I do choose to move foward. I do have enough on my plate!!!!

Well just to think about the things that have happen to me and my kids is a huge sore. It is very drainning. I know that it takes time for things to heal, but when they keep on getting torn open again and again i dont know how to fix that..

With every thing else that i have going on i have to figure out this. I know that my stbx will try anything just for money. Even if it is tryning to get custody of one of our kids just to offset the child support that she will have to pay. She left us and she dont wont to have anything to do with us. I need to protect my kids from that crazy person!

I am a 45 year old single Dad. I have 2 kids My son 15, my Daughter 12 years old. I had been with the same woman since 1989. We got married 11-10-1990. We both are addicits. I have been clean for 10 years now. She isnt clean. I am a Manger @ The Home Depot. I have been their 6 years. Since the stbx left(8 months ago) our Daughter has tryd to kill herself, run away melt downs etc.. For the first 4 months i tryd to work and that didnt work. I had to go on a FMLA to be home with the kids...
