I'm so sorry to hear this. I know how much a part of our family our animals are and it must be terrible on you seeing Madison like this. I have a cat who is 10 years old and healthy, but I get teary eyed thinking about the day I'll no longer have him with me. We've been through so much together. Sending you strength right now. Adrianne
Sorry to hear about your kitty. Yes our animals become a part of our family & don't know what to do if something would happen to them. My little dog has been with my husband this month & it has been so quite I don't know what to do....Connie
I'm sooo sorry to hear this. I lost a beloved pet last year who was my confidante and companion all in one. After Jamie died, she just was always "there" I know how much this hurts, and I am sorry that you have to go through this. Tight hugs, Hon! Love you, Judy
I am so very sorry to hear about Madison, I had to put Billy's cat to sleep this year - Billy was the only one she let pet her & be near her - the rest of us she just tolerated - it is so very hard...Hugs, Ann
I wish Madison a peaceful journey to the other side, Lana. She certainly has lived a long time! I am "nursing" my mom's dying cat. His name is really Figaro, but I call him "Mushy". He is really old as well but is still eating. He can barely walk though and sometimes, he acts like he is totally lost and stares into space. I have noticed that he is purring almost constantly now, which can be a sign of distress in older cats or a way of comforting themselves from pain. So we are "playing" it day by day for Mush. He still takes water, food and relieves himself normally. However, it is a sad day when we have to say goodbye to our furry family members. Hugs to you Belinda
About a month ago I put my cat down. Fifteen years ago he was a full grown cat when I adopted him from the Humane Society. I called him BC for ‘big cat’. Although, I should have named him BC for ‘bite cha.’ He would bite without provocation. I guessed his age to be 17 or 18 but have no way to know with absolute certainty. He was very, very sick. I still feel guilty. In retro spec, never should have allowed him to suffer so long. Sounds silly but, Tony knew my cat. The act of letting my cat go seemed to push my son further away. I miss BC however I am not ready for another cat.
I am sorry you are going to lose your fuzzy buddy. Our animals become members of our family.
I am so sorry. IJames and I had 3 dogs and the last one we lost this year. They were all old too, but they had been such good friends and companions to me. Especially when I was sich from the cancer, and with my grief. My prayers, and lovePeggy

I'm so sorry. I'm a cat lover, too. I'm thinking of you and hoping Madison gets her appetite back. She knows you love her.
Take care, Kelly
