This is what I just found on the web:

The death of Alicia Golembeski, 26, of Boulder, last month has been ruled accidental. Golembeski was hiking at Zapata Falls south of The Great Sand Dunes national park on July 22nd when a hiker above the falls apparently dislodged a rock that fell and hit Golembeski below on the head. Golembeski died of massive head injuries near the falls despite the assistance of two physicians and several others to save her life.

Well.....I was out where she died. And there was NO place to hike above the falls. The "hiker" was in an off limits area...clearly where he was not supposed to be. Looks like I am goign to have to try to pursue this.

I agree to pursue this. Is this a new articial or something from the accident time. It sounds like they might be hiding something from you. I will pray that God will guide you in the right direction to find the true answer...Hugs, Connie

You HAVE to pursue this now. I was just shocked when I read this entry! This is starting to reek of a "cover up" Sorry Hon, I don't mean to sound crass, but this really upset me, too! Please get some professional advice on this! Love you! Judy

I think it sounds like a cover up too. Unfortunately, the statute of limitations might be a problem even though they lied to me. But truthfully, I did not have the strength during the first two years to pursue a lawsuit. I have a call into a lawyer. They simply do not call back. Very disheartening.

Lana It does sound like you have a case. Remember it changes nothing. Please pray and then act. The wound is beginning to close do you want it open wide again. I'm behind you with love and support what ever your decision. Love ya Hugs Cathy

No, it will not bring her back. But the unfortunately, the wound is not closing and I need to do this so that maybe it can close a little. I believe she would have wanted me to do this...to set the record straight. And the laws need to be changed to protect the victims....not the perpetrators. Love you too! Lana
