Well, i have not heard back from either the sheriff or the coroner. Guess i will have to call them. This is the SECOND time I have tried to get information from them and they have not responded. Hard enough to lose your child. Even harder when the authorities refuse to cooperate. Both of the men were in office when she was killed....I am sure they remember her death. I am just getting so frustrated. I just want to know the truth and for the truth to come out. And if there has been a cover up, I am going to go after all of them ...even if it brankrupts me. It is inexcusable to cover up the truth. It took them 11 hours to even contact me after she died. What were they thinking? The child didn't have a mother??? I am not sure I will ever get over that. Might have been days before i found out had one of my former students not called me. What can I say? My heart aches enough as it is. Sorry for venting so but sometimes the pain is just too much. love to you all. lana

if you have a lawyer, have your lawyer send them a letter requesting the information you want..they usually pay attention to that.

Oh lana I am so sorry you don't deserve to be treated like that they may not want to deal with it but its only the right thing to do and the fact that they didn't contact you right away is horrible I know that breaks your heart.I agree with the above comment about a lawyer unfortunately people do tend to respond quicker when they know an attorney is involved. I agree with Mari, an attorney letter can do wonders! Do not worry about venting, please! You have EVERY right to vent,...and more! That is what we are all here for! It just makes me furious that you are being treated like this! Love you, Judy

I would be feeling and doing the same thing. I felt a horrible need to find out all I couls about how my kids died and spent their las minutes. I did not like all the answers, but I was determined to know. I love you Prayers are with you LOVE Peggy

I got John's information but had to pay for the printing and postage. I agree a lawyers letterhead will help. Love and hugs Cathy
